Success comes in many ways. It can come out of nowhere, a result of being in the right place at the right time. It can be inherited. For most, it comes through hard work, perseverance, and an outright refusal to give up.

It has been ten years since Sam Fisher played his first show at the Firehouse Tavern in Greenville NC. It was an “open mic” night actually and Sam only played four songs three of which were covers. Afterwards, his parents who were in attendance advised him to take lessons and get vocal coaching. Not exactly a grand introduction to the music business. Sam Fisher did get those lessons and after stints in three different bands, Fisher is poised to make his mark the way he was introduced---solo.

At one time, Sam believed he would find success in professional tennis. He traveled extensively as a highly ranked junior tennis player before heading to East Carolina University to play college tennis. As a tennis player, Sam became known for his tireless work ethic and determination to improve. While in college, he began playing guitar and performing locally at open mic nights.
