	Midwest Dilemma Omaha, Neb based singer-songwriter Justin Lamoureux, who pretty much makes up the indie-folk band known as Midwest Dilemma, has been pouring his heart out for audiences all over US and Canada. With relatively simple topics and songs that are inspired by family, relationships, geography and the weather, many music fans are calling his sound Midwestern. Born and raised in the Heartland, Justin Lamoureux has much to tell about his life and experiences growing up in the Midwest. At an early age Justin's father, a 30-year veteran railroader and singer-songwriter helped influence his journey and life as a musician. "I remember when I was very young, listening to my dad sing and play his guitar for hours in the basement. He would always perform with such passion that made every occurrence very special. I feel fortunate to have had such a great teacher." In mid-2002 Midwest Dilemma was introduced by Lamoureux as a concept that would take shape through writing, recording, and touring. Sometimes the band name seems fitting as feelings of isolation and entrapment could be associated with living amidst vast farmland of Nebraska. Whether the name represents geographical issues or the struggle of an independent artist, Midwest Dilemma reveals a chaotic wave of simplicity and emotion with down to earth songs that take you to other places.
