a singer-songwriter with old school sensibilities, sarai's music features finger picking folk style with a dash of blues. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas (where she lived for a grand total of 3 months), Sarai moved a lot: Florida, Ohio, New Mexico, England, Texas, Kentucky and NY before landing in Chicago. Five years in the music mecca of Austin helped her find her roots before transitioning to the windy city where she divides her time between music and theatre....oh yeah, and a day job. You haven't seen her playing out lately because she just recovered from shoulder surgery. But never fear, she'll be playing in a bar/coffeshop near you soon. |
