Kara Kulpa is quickly making a name for herself in the Midwest folk circuit. Since the release of her demo EP, Any Given Day, in May of 2005, she has toured Midwest and East Coast as a solo act as well as in conjunction with various other artists. Highlighted venues she's performed at include Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA and The Skellig in Waltham, MA. Kulpa also showcased at the 2005 Midwest Music Summit in Indianapolis, the 2005 Cutting Edge Music Conference in New Orleans and the 2005 Midpoint Music Festival in Cincinnati. In a side project, Kulpa can be seen fiddling and mandolining (as well as performing her own material) with the group Mercy Driver - made up of Kulpa, Chicago's Shelley Miller and New York's Jeremiah Birnbaum or touring as a duo act with Mercy Driver founding member, Dave Golden.
