Northern Wisconsin based singer songwriter,Jerry Peterson, has been playing instruments and writing music for as long as he can remember. It has taken years of experimenting to perfect his own unique style. His music is best described as Americana~Roots with traditional folk influences. Inspired by many great singer songwriters of the past and present, Jerry has written and released two self produced CD's. Through his songs he has shared his innermost thoughts, experiences, philosophy, and outlook on life. Growing up in northern Wisconsin, Jerry has developed a love for the outdoors which he also portrays through his latest release entitled "Deep Into The Woods". The instant rapport that occurs between musicians and audiences is evident when Peterson performs. Many of his songs are ballads and no doubt come strait from the heart, informed by many durable folk icons. The blend between his guitar and vocal is perhaps as expressive as the lyrics themselves. Toss in a few harmonicas and you have a night of entertainment. With the ability to touch people with his music, Jerry captivates audiences with intimate songs of love, hope, good times, and times of despair. | |
