With a strong national following SLAVE TO APPETITE is an upcoming staple in Chicago sound. Lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Jamie Nichols, www.myspace.com/jamienichols, was born and raised in Chicago on blues, country and rock. Her father's Chicago and Nashville music legendry instilled in her an eclectic style that complements her edgy lyrics and harmonic vocals. After touring throughout the West coast, she has found herself back in Chicago with an amazing band.
Bassist Matthew Golombisky, is a versatile, incredibly solid, and thoroughly badass performer. Known for a adding a jazz edge to a rock sound, he has a large fan base from work in several states and bands along with Matthew McClimon and Quin Kirchner. Vibraphonist Matthew McClimon, lends a superbly melodic and subtly ethereal mood to this acoustic collective. Quin Kirchner adds a ferocious beat and a high-energy drumming style that keeps the sound fresh, fun, and entertaining! Matthew McClimon, Matthew Golombisky, and Quin Kirchner's , other bands include: Tomorrow Music Orchestra, QMRplus, Grilly Biggs, Red Shift, Pele's Electric Glow, and The Other Planets.
