Steph Taylor has been described as a musical poet, creating a complete sensory experience through sound. With a not so coy, yet flirtatious guitar style mixed with a percussive piano style, there is no real way to pigeonhole this multi-instrumental artist. Her soulful, smoky voice lends itself to the emotional quality of the music, and her presence on a stage becomes unimposingly palpable the second she strikes the first note. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Steph’s first music lesson was at the age of 4, when she figured out the tune “When you wish upon a star” on her dad’s piano. She hasn’t left the keys since, and picked up the guitar along the way. Currently, Steph is touring the country in support of her 2006 Sophomore album, 'Between Ground and Sky'.
