"I truly believe that there is a perfect timing and due season for everything."

The time is now, the name is Jamison and the sound is, well straight up catchy!

Born and raised in the small town of Maysville, Kentucky, Jamison began experimenting with music as a child. While friends dabbled in sports and academics, he spent countless hours teaching himself how to play various instruments. As he entered his mid-teens and developed into a well rounded musician, lyrical ideas began to flow; First through poetry and finally in the form of song when he adopted the guitar as his primary instrument. The result, the passion to pursue a life long dream.

"I entertained the thought of pursuing other opportunities besides music, but those ideas were fleeting and faded away. Music has been my true love all along."

In search of a larger more diverse market, Jamison moved to Louisville in 2003. He became a regular at a local open mic where he would begin to hone his live performance. After finding his niche in the local music scene, he was soon playing solo shows all around town. A small fan base began to grow, and it hasn't stopped. However, as the shows grew in size Jamison knew that on stage he would need some help, and thus the talents of Corey Neal (drums), Kellen Rollins (electric guitar), Shane St. Clair (keys), and Dustin Wooldridge (electric guitar) were added and a band emerged.

Upon independently releasing his debut EP, "Too Much Too Soon", Jamison’s album has accumulated numerous plays on MySpace.com, aquired digital distribution through various online retailers (e.g. iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody), been heard across the nation on college radio and was licensed by MTV for their hit show, "My Super Sweet Sixteen". What were once local shows have now become regional and Jamison is attracting a more ardent audience than ever before.

Talent or determination, you ask? Not sure which drives Jamison and his contagious flow of rhythmic melodies. One thing is for sure; Louisville is not the last stop in his musical journey.
