Caroline Glass
Caroline Glass started her music career at 16, performing oboe in orchestra and chamber groups within Canada and the United States. At 22 she joined the Cirque du Soleil as oboe soloist on Dralion, also doubling on saxophone, ethnic woodwinds and backup vocals. She performed over a thousand shows in eight countries, and appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Mexico's Hoy. Since leaving the Circus in February 2005, she has been developing her first album and begun performing her own material. In July 2005, she played at the Montreal International Jazz Festival with Seb Martel, and more recently finished collaborating with Joseph Arthur on the album Invisible Parade released in May 2006. Caroline's first EP comes out this July.
Tommy Jordan is best known for his work as lead singer and songwriter for Geggy Tah. Signed to David Byrne's Luaka Bop label in the early '90s, Geggy Tah issued their debut album, Grand Opening, in 1994 with Byrne signed on as one of the album's executive producers. They went on to record two other albums, Sacred Cow, which featured the hit Whoever You Are, and Into the Oh before the band parted ways in 2001. Since then Tommy Jordan has recorded with Ben Harper, Piers Faccini, Jack Johnson and Bumcello. Tommy is currently working on his own album of original music and touring and recording with Caroline Glass.
Brent Roman is a freelance Chicago-based percussionist, dance accompanist, instructor, and composer. Groups he has worked with include: Cirque du Soleil, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Mucca Pazza, Silverguy Entertainment, Redmoon Theater, and the Cheng Da Taiwanese Taiko and Percussion Players. Brent is currently touring with Caroline Glass and appears on her upcoming EP.
