Jaspar Loes is a twenty-six year old singer/songwriter from Minneapolis. Classically trained on the piano, Jaspar picked up the guitar four years ago and found a way to connect the two things she loves most in the world: music and words. Her sound is a country-hinged folk with a hint of rock and roll. Her lyrics are wishful and wide open. Jaspar wears her heart on her words, and the stories she weaves bring a quaint sensitivity to human longings for love and for home. She self-released her first CD August of 2004. "Songs for Charlie" is primarily a solo project while her second CD, takes the music a step further, adding more instruments and more rock. "Billboard in this faint little light" was released in August 2005. "Good morning! Sunshine" returns to instrumental simplicity and was released in May of 2006. | |||
