We self-identity as transgender artists and perform original and traditional indie bluegrass melodies in drag personas. As musicians we play original compositions and enjoy performing our own interpretations of traditional folk tunes such as “Frankie and Johnny” (Traditional, circa 1904) and “Custom Made Woman Blues” (Alice Gerard 1962). We offset our music with heavy costuming, wicked sideburns, and deviant characters. Aside from being skilled musicians, our performance-oriented hearts are heavily indulged as we comically portray rabid accountants, dirty bikers, and butch gay cowboys. |
