Melanie Sue Mausser
Sweet and sassy, elegant and trashy, Melanie Sue Mausser is a sizzling mystery. You never know what she'll sing about next. Her Americana blend captures a little bit of country, folk, bluegrass, and rock and roll. Born and raised in Iowa, Melanie began classical piano training at the age of four and picked up the guitar when she was in her 20s. Shes never been able to escape her rural upbringing so honky-tonks, cowboys, and two-lane highways are the norm for this country girl.
A blonde bombshell with dangerous curves, Melanie sings like an angel while her playful blue eyes dance like the devil. She leaves you wondering how someone so seemingly innocent can be so mischevious.
Women identify with the in-your-face lyrics of Melanie's original songs "You Stand Me Up and Let Me Down," "This Aint My First Rodeo" and "I'm Just a Girl Who Walked In a Bar" while "Break Me" "Head Over Boots" and "Boys In Bars" leave the men-folk blushing. "Cadillac Daddy" would convince you that Melanie is capable of murder, while her signature ballad "Kidder Valley," makes you realize when it all comes down to it she's still a sentimental artist who appreciates the simple things of life. Her first CD, "Cadillac Daddy" is now available at CD Baby
