Parasol Records' Ryan Groff is the lead singer of Champaign, IL-based Indie/Folk/Rock band elsinore, and was recently voted Best Singer/Songwriter at the 2007 Champaign-Urbana Local Music Awards. He's 26 and has been writing and performing for 8 years, and recently released his "official" debut solo album, People in the Midwest, on Parasol Records in June. He has a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition and Performance, and tries to mesh this classical training with years of listening to and learning Beatles and Ryan Adams' songs. |
