The Dowry
Somewhere between a spaghetti western bar fight and an old silent movie, the music of The Dowry finds an appropriate backdrop. The band easily appeals to those with traditional and western sensibilities as well as a modern indie or folk-rock crowd.
These four brothers and friends, hailing from varioius corners of Illinois, embelish a combination of insightful lyricism and clairvoyent songwriting that creates a diverse experience, which quickly flows from intimate guitar and vocals to satiated full band orchestration.
