The Rabble Rousers Band will be performing new material from their upcoming 3rd CD release under the pseudonym, ACOUSTIC RABBLE ROUSERS. The band has been performing in night clubs and at festivals all over Chicago since 2002. They have received numerous awards, international press and have performance credentials that include appearing in the 21st Annual Chicago Blues Festival. The music at this special acoustic engagement will be reminiscent of American Folk Blues. It will illustrate the group’s evolution from a Mississippi Delta blues based sound to a Lollapalooza inspired roots rock revival band. Listeners will hear voices of the past echoing in a new world spooked by a soulful vocalist, chilling instrumentation and a mix of contemporary renditions of blues standards and original rock n’ roll compositions.
