Aidan Cornhill is a singer/songwriter from Durban, South Africa. His blend of pop, folk and country is nostalgic and sentimental with a lyrical integrity not often heard on today's airwaves. Cornhill rode his first wave of prominence in 2003 as co-writer and guitarist for South African band Deluxe. During his short carreer, Aidan's music has featured on films, television shows, national advertising campaigns and high rotation on various radio stations. Accompanied by Andy Turrel on Pedal-Steel, Aidan's most recent collection of songs has translated well during intimate live shows over recent months. With engaging anecdotes punctuating a heartfelt delivery, the duo are well recieved by a broad audience starved for new music with substance. Aidan Cornhill's latest offering, independently released "Seaside B-Sides" was recorded live and will be available as a demo in August 2007 when he returns to his native South African shores. |
