Moriah Harris
Moriah Harris is one of the vertebrae of the backbone of the East Nashville music scene. She not only plays solo gigs, but is constantly booked to play as a side musician for other artists. She has been asked to collaborate with such disparate acts as local jam band The Borrowed Suits, and indie pop hooligan Wes Charlton. She has opened for The Guggenheim Grotto and will open for the popular all female string band Uncle Earl in September. She has also scored a film and written original music for a children’s play.
Her original music is condensed heartbreak, the kind of tunes you put on when the pain is still raw or when you want to remember a long lost love, evoking that liminal time of day that is full of long shadows between dusk and night. |
