John Will Balsley was born and raised in Milwaukee WI and started playing music while attending the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. He started playing the harmonica which then led to the guitar, banjo, dobro, mandolin and accordion. He has played many venues around Milwaukee including Linnemans, The Rave, Riverwest Commons, Hotcakes Gallery, Madison Arts Center, Kohler Arts Center, Strange Brew Cafe, and the Coffee House. John recently moved to Chicago and is working on his firtst album at 2nd floor productions. | |||
