shalloboi is mostly tyler ritter and stefanie goodwin. billy speer of kansas city, mo is cellist on the majority of all of their recordings both released and unreleased. a few other people have contributed here and there. they have released four albums ('blue-eyed', 'invisible against the sun', 'petals' and 'learning how to crawl') and two digital singles ('song to the stars' and 'wish') since 2004. 'learning how to crawl' is their latest. it is an accident. all of the songs on it weren't conceived, recorded or completed with any intention of release. the acoustically-based nature of the music is a departure from the doomy, droning and gorgeous psychedelic apocalypse of previous release 'petals.' | |||
