Chris Dorman, of Lansing, is a musician, a father, and a friend to the community. Songwriting has developed as a natural medium for him to share the swirling emotions he feels living in an ever changing, and unpredictable age. His songs are both gentle and strong. He injects his thoughts and feelings into his music, and often writes about his friends and family. Inspired by the birth of his son, now 10 months old, Chris is releasing a full length album, To Begin Again. Recorded and released with Earthwork Music, the album is diversely textured with over two dozen musician's contributions. It dives deep into Dorman's relationships and reflects upon personal and global transitions. It's on the way to being heard by a wider audience, starting with Chicago on Sunday, June 15th. |
