A former teacher at the Old Town School, Ben Porter has recently returned to his beloved Chicago in the form of an old-time country singer. He'll be digging deep into the catalogs of the Carter Family and Flying Burrito Bros, while spinning out countrified versions of his own songs. Ben will be ably backed by The Strangers, a seasoned Chicago country trio.
