Years ago, Jeff Elbel stopped playing art rock guitar with Champaign, IL based Farewell to Juliet and moved to Los Angeles. He recorded and toured (including stops at Uncommon Ground with Ping) while following the industry's "keep yer day job, kid" mantra. Now back in his home state, Jeff has shed progressive pretensions for an earthy, pub-friendly, rock and roll storytelling approach. Jeff likes bands such as the Kinks, Cake, Vigilantes of Love, Rolling Stones and the Church. He probably sounds like none of them. | |
