Twang Bang is just two guys: Itzi Rothowski on Guitar and Redd Klaats on Drums Twang Bang plays a weird original blend of various American pop music, old and new. Poppy, punky, rockabillyish, jazzy, country, funky, funny, odd... Twang Bang has a mission to cut through the hassle and red tape of "official" performing. They enjoy performing and will show up just about anywhere to do it. They're extremely portable and come fully equipped with battery-powered amplification -- licensed to perform on the streets, sidewalks, or parks. They can arrive, set up and begin performing in a matter of minutes anywhere, anytime! pets! In addition to playing in these United States, this Chicago-based musical duo has toured extensively in Japan tickling the tonal tastebuds of young and old -- from Aizuwakamatsu to Takaoka City. They are the first American band to ever win the prestigious SONY/YAMAHA sponsored JAPAN OPEN music contest in Hamamatsu City. They have been featured on BSN RADIO-JAPAN, NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO-USA and their songs are featured on DR. DEMENTO's "BEST OF" and GAND MUSIC's "FINEST FINGERS" compilation CDs.
