At the end of the day, they're just songs to John Moony. Rising out of the Chicago Acoustic-Indie scene, John Moony writes soul music, and has carved a niche with his guitar playing, glinting voice, and looping experiments. Past projects include Torben Floor and Circle-K. Since going band-less in 2005, John Moony has written and produced two records: Bare Bones (2006) and Acoustiloops (2007). He doesn't play out as much as he used to - saying, "I don't want to be one of those artists that you can hear play around town every other weekend. If I'm doing a show, I want to make it count." John is currently at work recording his next solo effort "Fade Outs" is set for completion in early 2009. | |
