Most of Starina’s life has been surrounded by music, she wrote her first song at the tender age of 9, while completing an assignment for her girl scout camp group. It was performed on a faux-wooden plastic recorder. She considers herself more of an artist than a girl scout.
Hating her life and the town she lived in, she escaped to Art School where she learned the art of exposing one’s soul on stage and Camel cigarettes.
Though, having long given up the Camel, she still enjoys exposing herself on stage.
Starina performs in Chicago where she also lives with her husband Geoff and her two cats, Lucy and Otto.
