Aerin Tedesco and Andrea Bunch are exceptional songwriters, musicians, and vocalists with gorgeous vocal harmonies and a symbiotic musical presentation. Andrea & Aerin do not settle for the standard folk stasis of guitar and voice. Instead, they employ a wide palette of sounds and instruments from Aerin's tenor guitar to Andrea's computer-generated tones. Musically they range from stripped-down, traditional folk to harder-edged, multi-instrumental electronica. Both their recordings and live shows include tenor guitar, six-string guitar, computer samples, and piano. The duo's 2004 appearance at the National Women's Music Festival was described as "music that swings from thunderous electronic rants to breathtaking acoustic ballads". In 2004 the two released their separate solo albums Numinous (Andrea) and Birthmark (Aerin), and a duo album will be released in the fall.
