Deep Cricket Night is a five cornered, pearly moonlight serenade unfurled headlong into dawn with Beggars Banquet in your ride, Townes Van Zandt at your side, and an original melodic moan comprised of Lance Drake (gtr/vocals), Joseph Werner (percussion/drums/vocals), Geraldine Haas (cello), Ciaran Cooper (percussion/drums), and Phillip Alley (guitar/mandolin/banjo). Musically, they build their unique sound with an instrumentation and beat that is sometimes haunting, often driving, and always eclectic. Lyrically, they have something to say and use pop, rock, blues, country, and folk interchangeably to turn on minds not reserved for the run of the mill. |
