Zach Berkman
Singer/songwriter Zach Berkman's musical career began in his hometown of Peoria, Illinois. After relocating to Chicago at age 16, he began showcasing his talents at local open mics. Berkman established a reputation regionally and proceded to wow fans at Chicago's seminal acoustic venue, Uncommon Ground. At 18, Berkman moved again, this time to New York City and within months was playing at the world famous Bitter End. Citing a diverse array of influences from Jeff Buckley to Counting Crows to Bright Eyes to Ryan Adams, Berkman's songwriting is unique yet familiar. His powerful voice has drawn comparrison's to a young Van Morrison, but with a style all his own, Berkman has taken New York by storm. |
