Sound Engineer
Uncommon Ground is seeking experienced sound engineers / artist hospitality staff.
General can-do attitude and job satisfaction matter far more to us than twiddling some knobs, but some experience is required.
Duties Include:
* Checking in with Manager at start of shift
* Sound system setup/breakdown
* Command line computer recording (training provided)
* Keep the artists happy
* Minor record-keeping
The ideal candidate has:
* Done sound in small/intimate venues or theatres
* Comfortable with new technology
* Welcoming attitude
* Completely diligent and reliable and timely
* Neat and orderly habits
* Experience in wrapping cables and powering on systems correctly.
Part-time one or two shifts per week, evenings.
Specific day[s] of the week will be your responsiblity, as mutually agreed upon at hiring.
