Poor Calvin is a Chicago based band bringing new life to both rock and blues. The old soul of singer-songwriter Brian Doherty (vocals, rhythm guitar) is captured in his introspective lyrics and timeless melodies, with the modern indie rock rhythms of Evan Opitz (guitar), Kevin McMahon (bass), and Jimmy Kowalczyk (percussion). Poor Calvin writes music that will make you cry or dance, depending on your mood that day.

Nikki Morgan is a singer-songwriter based in Chicago but with the heart of a true Carolina girl. As a singer and a writer her style takes the form of country/folk with a beautiful splash of soul and often explores the duality and truth that lies in the many facets of life. As she continues her journey you can find her belting out at various venues around the city.

Fauvely is the project of Chicago-based singer-guitarist Sophie Brochu, who creates deeply personal dream-pop music. After completing her master’s in fiction writing and feeling frustrated with the constraist of her craft, Sophie turned to music for its raw and immediate release. The title of her debut EP, Watch Me Overcomplicate This (Midwest Action, 2017), speaks to the confessional tone of songs that range from delicately self-effacing to hauntingly sad. Fauvely’s LP, Tides, transports listeners to the salty coast of Sophie’s hometown, Savannah, GA. Louder and bolder than her EP, these intensely brooding songs are the result of a new confidence possessed by Sophie, and the desire to come to terms with haunting memories in a place revered for its beauty. Fauvely has cultivated a strong presence in Chicago, sharing the stage with internationally acclaimed artists Stella Donnelly, Gemma Ray, Ryley Walker, and Ultimate Painting.
