Jeff Ruby is a singer-songwriter (rock/folk) based in Nashville, TN. Growing up in rural Indiana, Ruby listened to his oldest brother’s music including bands like The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Beatles, and The Doors. His high-school years were filled 90’s grunge like Nirvana. Ruby had dual interests in music and investing. He graduated with a business degree from Indiana University, but he’s found songwriting and performing to be a more fulfilling path. Ruby has self-released four albums and has performed throughout the U.S. over the past 8 years.
The David Hayes Project is a unique and original rock band based in Chicago. The band is comprised of Midwest musicians who have worked together in multiple projects throughout the years. David Hayes (guitar, keys, & vocals) is a native of Rockford, Illinois and has lived in Chicago for over a decade. He is a graduate from Columbia College Chicago who teaches private music lessons, and composes original music in multiple genres. He released his first album “In With the Old” in 2010, and released a twin album “Out With the New” in 2011. Now 2014 has brought a third album “Epics”. The Project includes Graham Burris (bass, vocals), Mike Lim (keys), Sara Lim (vocals) and Christian Chamberlain (drums). Graham Burris is another Rockford native who performs with multiple bands in Chicago, and has collaborated with Grammy award winner Lupe Fiasco. Michael & Sara Lim hail from Detroit, Michigan and are also a graduates of Columbia College Chicago. They also composes original music for his project known as The Lims. Christian Chamberlain is from Morton, Illinois and also keeps a tight beat in multiple bands. He is beginning to start his own drum and bass project as well. Together The David Hayes Project create a unified progressive sound that keeps the listeners interested.
