"Evergreen" is a new project from Chicago-based saxophonist and composer Will Barnard. A drummer-less project, "Evergreen" plays melody and improv oriented original compositions with mainly acoustic instruments.

Defpotec is what you get when you put all your Bluenote records from the past 25 years in a microwave with the AACM’s greatest hits and press play on the resulting composite disk. This fiery quartet is the brain child of saxophonist Joey Rosin and drummer Tommy Carroll.
Joey Rosin is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator from Riverwoods, IL. While Joey is firmly rooted in the jazz tradition, he draws inspiration from far corners of the world. He studies the gong, the deeper nature of sound and vibration; this permeates his approach to playing the saxophone, improvising, and composing.
Tommy Carroll is a Chicago-based drummer, producer and composer with an ability to imbue music with emotional depth and improvisational dexterity. An in demand drummer for rappers, songwriters and experimental artists alike, Tommy also leads his own jazz fusion group that has showcased in venues across the city. His forthcoming album, titled Calculated Discomfort, sets cosmic jazz to the arc of personal growth and self-realization. His previously released album Not Amazing addresses his experiences as a blind adult. is what you get when you put all your Bluenote records from the past 25 years in a microwave with the AACM’s greatest hits and press play on the resulting composite disk.
