Penning songs with an introspective take on country music, South City Revival blends country, rock & roll, and rhythm & blues into a unique, high energy sound. The quintet met in the parking lot of a Western Ave. bar and agreed they wanted to write songs like Townes Van Zandt and play shows like Bruce Springsteen. They asked each other "what does Chicago country sound like?" -- A question that has shaped the sound and aesthetic of South City Revival since its formation. In 2017, SCR teamed up with Chicago studio guru Mike Hagler (Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Waco Brothers) to record their self-titled, debut EP at his Humboldt Park Studio. The release features a captivating blend of story driven songwriting and high energy studio performances.

Formed in 2015, The Bashful Youngens are an Americana band out of Champaign, Illinois featuring Carrie Chandler and Aaron Short. Carrie and Aaron grew up 15 minutes apart, in Pontiac, IL and Forrest, IL, respectively. But they didn't meet until a few years later, in college, at a party where they happened to spontaneously perform a Ryan Adams song together. Fast forward to 2016 where they recorded and released their self titled debut album and to 2017 where they recorded and released their EP, "Inflorescent." After adding a few more band members along the way (Brian Hildebrand, Mitchell Killough, Stephen Johnson and Matt Chupp) The Bashful Youngens have shared the stage with artists like Paul Thorn, Jana Kramer, Lydia Loveless and Parker Millsap.

Motel Breakfast came to form playing dive bars and basements in the winter of 2016/2017. Originally comprised of southside of Chicago natives Jimmy Drenovsky (lead vox, rhythm guitar), Mick O’Donnell (lead instrumentalist), Conor Brennan (keys), and Jesse Nasadowski (percussion), they’ve since added Columbus native Drue Devente on bass and have a rotating cast of friends who join them on and off stage. Their influences extend across genres, with no sound or instrument off limits in the creative process. Rooted in the simple desires to make good music and have a good time, the band continues to play every chance they get while writing for their debut album.
