Jazz quickly became a life's passion after being introduced to it in the third grade. His growing list of influences that continue to shape Noah's growth in Jazz includes past and present Jazz musicians, Max Roach, McCoy Tyne, Elvin Jones, Xavier Breaker, Marquis Hill and Ulysses Owens Jr.
Noah currently plays in the Chicagoland area with many different groups while also leading his own group, The Noah Brooks Coalition. This group features many up and coming young Jazz musicians from the Chicagoland area.
The Noah Brooks Coalition focuses on playing modern Jazz music composed by Chicago Jazz artists, such as Chris Greene, Rajiv Halim, and Xavier Breaker, while
