Mirabelle Skipworth is an Oswego, IL native who has played throughout the Chicagoland area as a solo singer/songwriter as well as the lead singer of The Paper Boats (a 3-piece folk trio). Her music is rooted in folk music and draws inspiration from rootsy and story-telling-driven music.

Singer/songwriters Colleen Wild and Jason Benefield met in the early 2000's and quickly became collaborators and friends. After performing together throughout the region, they went their separate ways, had families, and honed their crafts in other projects. In late 2016, they reunited to play a show, which turned into a handful of shows, which eventually became the acoustic duo Echo and Ransom. Since then, they've made a name for themselves for their powerhouse vocals, tight harmonies, honest songwriting, and their ability to engage and entertain a crowd.
