Tiny Shoulders w/ Chad Price & David Lopez - 7PM | $10

  • Uncommon Ground - Edgewater 1401 West Devon Avenue Chicago, IL, 60660 United States (map)

Tiny Shoulders is an indie-folk rock group based in Chicago, Il, with a sound that blends singer/songwriter folk music with Southern gothic and blues. The band consists of Leigh Yenrick (vocals), Tess Taruskin (fiddle/violin), and Travis Cook (guitar/vocals). They have performed in Chicago at Uncommon Ground, Cornservatory, and Duly Noted/On Tour Brewing, and are looking to record their first album later in 2019. They have big dreams, but such tiny shoulders - they do not care for pigeons.

Chad Price began his musical venture in 1993 when he joined the seminal pop/punk band ALL. In 1995, he and fellow singer/songwriter Jon Snodgrass formed the much loved but often overlooked country flavored rock 'n' roll band Drag The River. While both bands toured around the globe for years, Chad began working on his solo material. Songs too emotional to fit into a band context. He released 'Smile Sweet Face' in 2009 and his 2nd solo record 'It Might Bleed Forever', in 2018. He is currently focusing on his solo project as well as his hard rock band A Vulture Wake.

"...the latest record from Chad Price, is a mournful album waist-deep in heartache. ...laid back and stripped down, lyrically nodding to romantic ideals of individualism and emotion, putting an overflow of feeling as the bullseye of each track."
~Bryant Liggett from The Alternate Root
