Lead by singer-songwriter and guitarist Cray Oxley and pianist Sam Brunelli, The Oxleys began writing and performing throughout Wisconsin in late 2016. The group pulls inspiration from a number of genres and styles including Neil Young, Noah Gundersen, and Wisconsin natives: Dead Horses. Together, Cray and Sam work to turn every venue into an intimate space to connect with their audience through a love for their music.

A southern rascal lost in the heart of Chicago started ruminating on what music might mean to him five, ten, fifteen years down the road. How might sounds of the past circle back around? The answers lay hidden in the songs. With an emotional palette that plays with your heart strings, Wright Gatewood strives to bring ideals of the helpless wanderers, the rapscallions of yesteryear, and the dreamers of tomorrow to your ears as he pieces the parts together.
