Katie Kuffel is a tongue-in-cheek, Seattle-based musician smashing the piano in a manner that's not quite blues, not quite folk, and not quite like anything you've heard before. With songwriting that is both innovative and thoughtful, she explores community, feminism, and her personal experiences as an advocate against sexism and violence, with a contemporary sound that supports turbulent, poetic lyrics.
Classically trained in the cello, Katie began songwriting at an early age, composing original works with her instructors when her family inherited an old, upright piano (now housed in her Seattle apartment). She has since expanded to incorporate vocal looping and ukulele in her music. Katie stands by her belief that an artist is only as successful as their community, and strives to collaborate, support, and create opportunities for other Seattle-area musicians.

In 2016 Katie organized, recruited, composed, and crowd-funded the Fremont Abbey Sessions, a local, community-driven music and video recording project highlighting Seattle’s musicians, talent, spaces, and resources.
Heather Mae is a unique performer. She startles the senses of her audiences on many levels; she engages her audiences to shake their hips and raise their fists in solidarity. Her honesty, authenticity and ability to connect to people are special gifts and her music is an extra added bonus on top or that.
Heather Mae is an imaginative lyricist with a powerhouse voice. She has broken new ground with her album I Am Enough. The collection was dubbed a KickStarter Staff Pick within its first week, smashing through its $15,000 fundraising goal and on its official release date. She is known for her interesting indie-pop sound, but also for her musical take on touchy subjects ranging from LGBTQ discrimination, gender stereotypes, body image, and mental health issues. This is what sets Mae apart — she seeks to write music for those that need an anthem and doesn’t shy away from tackling topics not often heard in pop music.
The singer-cellist-songwriter strums, bows, picks, and taps through stories of hope and heart, pulling you into the moment by the collar and not letting go. Classically trained but now playing out of the “box,” Sarah Clanton’s vocals transcend from moonlit night to house on fire, with a tone that blends smoke with sunlight, landing somewhere between Nina Simone and Norah Jones.
After graduating Furman University in 2007 with a degree in Music and Communication Studies, Clanton stayed in Greenville, South Carolina and continued playing classically in orchestras, while touring with bands as a hired gun, working random jobs and teaching cello lessons. All the while exploring and finding her voice in non-traditional ways of playing and singing with her cello. When she was not on the road touring solo or appearing with artists like Edwin McCain, The David Mayfield Parade, Ben Sollee, Mindy Smith and Richard Leigh, Clanton was organizing a 19 week, Saturday solar powered festival called Music in the Woods. Her diligence caught the attention of the Cirque De Soilel who invited her to audition for a lead role right before deciding to finally make the move to Nashville in 2014.
Sarah's purple hair-tossing, sultry yet electric performances - an exercise in musical abandon - became audience favorites. In 2012 Clanton facilitated a successful Kickstarter campaign to record her first full length recording. Sarah’s first self produced project upon arriving to Nashville, a 2015 self-titled EP released included “Tequila,” an original co-write by Clanton, Tom Bettencourt, and Richard Leigh, made the Nashville Songwriters Association International Top 40 in January 2016.
After just two years in Nashville, Clanton signed a management deal with Torque Entertainment and a publishing deal with Writer’s Den Music group. In the spring of 2017 Sarah was selected as an Official Showcase Artist at the South Eastern Regional Folk Alliance in Montreat, North Carolina. This honor followed the 2017 releases “Middle Tree Studio Live,” a collection of originals, and a summer of video collaboration covers like “The Less I Know The Better” and “Chained to the Rhythm” with Nataly Dawn or “One Step Closer” with Heather Mae. In December No Depression and Elmore Magazine premiered her latest single “Silver Lining,” a song co-written with Mary Bragg, championing construction conversation.
2018 is looking like another year of adventure for Clanton as she finishes crafting and recording a new incarnation of her honey-and-thunder sound for a 2018 full length release.
Shealeigh is a 19-year-old independent singer/songwriter from the Chicago area, whose musical introduction began with an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show at age 12. At 13, she wrote the song “What Can I Say”, which was featured on the fourth season of the Radio Disney/Disney Channel program “Next Big Thing” in 2011, as well as in the Disney Channel original movie “Radio Rebel” and steadily climbed to the #2 spot on the Billboard Kids music chart. In February 2017, Shealeigh self-released her debut EP, We All Need To Go Places, via SoundCloud and Bandcamp. A collection of four melancholy stories, “We All Need To Go Places” is a product of navigating self-dependence, and being in between a fresh start and what comes next.
