At a time in her life when most of her peers are worried about prom and parties and fraught with teenage anxieties, Genevieve Heyward was pushing toward her future. Opening for Grammy winners and sharing the stage with national performers who have written songs for some of the biggest names in music. She cut her teeth winning vocal competitions and participating in the Steel Bridge Songfest, playing to crowds in the thousands by the age of 16. In her senior year of high school, Genevieve releases her debut album, "It's Not Like Anyone's Listening." Paving the path to her music career with songs about young love, the fight for teenage independence and dogs.
Mike Wheeler is a singer-songwriter originally hailing from Vermont. With stints in Montreal, New Zealand, Augusta, GA, Key West, & Kentucky-- where he was named "hands down, one of the finest WKY singer-songwriters going at the moment" (News4U, 2017)-- the road-tested troubadour now calls Nashville home.
2017 marked Wheeler's solo debut with Sunbeams All Twisted-- a mostly stripped-down acoustic collection of Mike's lyric-heavy Americana numbers. Wheeler's debut LP, produced by Grammy-winning studio engineer, Rob Eaton, will be released in early 2018.
In recent years, Mike has toured nationally and abroad with Crying Wolf, Gold Town, Chris Henry & The Hardcore Grass, and performed at Folk Alliance International, ROMP, Maverick Festival (UK), Dark Songs, Aiken Bluegrass Festival, The Frendly Gathering, IBMA: World of Bluegrass, Steelbridge Songfest, and countless clubs, pubs, and listening rooms.
