Nate Z has been writing his own songs for 15 years. He has have released multiple solo records and released material fronting and writing for other bands. People consider his a highly prolific songwriter. In the last few years, he stepped away from music full time to focus on other aspects of life's trials and tribulations. After a long break, Nate recently returned to his acoustic guitar with a renewed focus and approach to songwriting. He is back and this 'Bad Boy with a Good Heart' is coming at ya!
Nicolas Leo is a songwriter, composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher based in New Orleans, Louisiana. He performs regularly with his Chamber Pop band, Nyce! and his solo project, as well as various projects and ensembles around New Orleans.
Nic has been immersed in music his whole life. He began studying music formally at the age of 7, when he started learning classical piano. At 10, Nic received his first electric bass, which became his primary instrument. Throughout his adolescence, he picked up a variety of other instruments including trombone, tuba, saxophone, drums, guitar, and voice. In high school, he found a deep love for the upright bass, and chose to focus his efforts on this instrument throughout his time at Loyola University, where, along with studying upright bass, he studied Composition, Jazz Studies, and Music Industry Studies. After finishing school, he began focusing on his songwriting, guitar playing, and production skills. He performance professionally around New Orleans as well as throughout the U.S. on electric bass, upright bass, vocals, and guitar.
Nicolas has played in and written for orchestras, big bands, jazz combos, and rock bands, and he applies his knowledge and skills aquired through all these experiences to compose professionally. He often collaborates with producers, songwriters, composers, film-makers, and other singers and instrumentalists. He is always searching for new opportunities to play and work with new artists.
