Abud: A Band is a 5 piece acoustic dance band fronted by Oud player/composer James Abud. The band has been getting audiences jumping since February of 2018 with their original blend of American Folk, Soul Jazz, Bluegrass, and Arabic Dance Music. The mission statement of the band is to create a positive, self-love themed music that marries virtuosic musicianship to beautifully emotional, honest and often hilarious storytelling. The singalongs are infectious. Featuring the sounds of Emily McGinn (violin/vocals), Will Smith (guitar/banjo/vocals) Kitt Lyles (upright bass/vocals) and Stevenson Valentor (drums/percussion/vocals), all five members of the band are music educators and committed to making excellent and nourishing music happen.

Marianne and the Imaginary Band is a Chicago-based group performing an eclectic mix of folk and pop originals and covers, klezmer, and jazz Manouche.

"...daffy & sweetly outlandish..." - Chicago Tribune
Plucky Rosenthal is vintage-style musician, drawing influence from vaudeville, tin pan alley, and more shtick than you can shake a stick at. A mainstay of the Chicago cabaret scene, she can be seen at such local watering holes as the Green Mill, the Drifter, the California Clipper, and as the emcee for the Chicago League of Lady Arm Wrestlers as her alter ego Harry Scaray. Festivals include Chicago Women's Funny Fest, Windy City Burlesque Festival, Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival, Minnesota Fringe Festival, and as a semi-finalist for the Andy Kaufman Awards in NY.
"Endlessly bubbly, charismatic & a darling throwback to vintage vaudeville..." - Gapers Block
