Dan McGuinness’s voice harkens a listener's memory back to a time when Blue Eyed Soul ruled the radio. McGuinness was no longer Chicago's best kept secret when he re-located to the Black Hills in 2014.
In January 2016, McGuinness took over on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, fronting bassist Stu Cook & drummer Doug “Cosmo” Clifford’s legendary touring group, Creedence Clearwater Revisited. [Cook & Clifford are the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rhythm section and co-founding members of Creedence Clearwater Revival].
In addition to his original music, McGuinness keeps busy as an actor and voiceover/radio & sports broadcaster as well as his radio podcast, Danimal Planet Radio.
Deciding that the well-worn paths that other musicians adhere to were not the proper routes for his own creativity, Chicago native Jim Green creates relaxing and reflective to exciting and percussively driven solo finger-style acoustic guitar instrumentals in a fresh and compelling way. Influenced by many different genres such as Rock, Folk, New Age and World, he utilizes unusual guitar tunings while incorporating percussive rhythms, harmonics, and finger-tapping with a piano-like approach that is both musically and visually stimulating.
Jodi Walker has been a performing in and around Chicago since moving to Oak Park in 2009. She performs as a solo artist with the Jodi Walker Project in addition to her bands: Significant Others, Rainy Day Women with Naomi Ashley and Jenny Bienemann and The Zimmerman, a Bob Dylan tribute band. Jodi began her career as a jazz and funk vocalist in NYC and those influences run through her writing, as well as the more recent influence of Chicago's folk and Americana sound.
