Annagail: Called "An appealing amalgam of glowing folk, pop, and roots music...buoyant and ruggedly soulful," by the iconic All Music Guide, Annagail has always defied and stretched genres, equal parts singer/songwriters and rock band. Thinking man’s Americana. Pop for philosophers? Country for the curious? Rock for the recluse? Whatever you want to call them, Michigan based, Annagail weave heartache and hope for the disillusioned. “It’s not uncommon for me to listen to The Cure and Steve Earl back to back…before breakfast,” Jared has said of their fluid style.
Their first live album, recorded at the famed listening room, Seven Steps Up, which the band endearingly called ‘their personal Ryman,’ released in early 2025 with the UK's Rocking Magpie calling it "Intricate. Epic and articulately thoughtful." All this while managing enough headspace to edit and produce a 40 minute documentary/short film chronicling their last 2 decades as a band and the making of the album ‘Home’ in the midst of a pandemic, reeling from the abduction (and fortunate recovery) of their daughter, debilitating chronic illness and the icing on an already awful cake with a house fire that took their home and studio in 2016. “I can think of few bands or artists that have endured the sort of pain and travails that Annagail have experienced, and come out of it creating beautifully compelling music with a hopeful air,” says John Sinkevics of localspins.com.
Annagail desire to create meaningful moments. “The gig doesn’t validate us,” says Jennifer. “Sharing what we’re compelled to do and what makes us feel alive is the motivation…Music can’t be touched, but can touch.“
Greystone: Hailing from Chicago, Greystone was formed in 2024 by three members of the Hernandez family. The band’s drummer, Mark, exposed his daughter Alana (vocals) and son Mark (guitar) to his musical talents as well as a wide range of music during their upbringing. Starting off as a collection of intermittent jam sessions, each of the members quickly realized they shared a passion for songwriting and a desire to bring their ideas to life. This realization brought about the creation of Greystone, a band whose music is built on the foundation of Rock n’ Roll. Although this where their sound is most heavily centered, Greystone’s music oscillates throughout various genres. Their multi-decade, multi-genre influences–such as Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Metallica, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Stone Temple Pilots, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, and Amy Winehouse, to name a select few–allow each member to experiment with the notion of what rock music can be in the creation of their songs. The band is currently working on their debut album, A Million Grains of Sand, expected to be released in Spring 2025.
