Kathy Greenholdt, Violet Clare, and Sheepish

Chicago singer-songwriter Kathy Greenholdt wrangles with human desires, spiritual questions, and the natural world in brightly dark folk-rock. In 2002, at age 38, Kathy learned to play guitar and wrote her first song. Since then, she has issued nine collections of original music. For more information, visit www.KathyGreenholdt.com

Violet Clare, the moniker used by 21-year-old songwriter Violet Bowdle, aims to be authentic and unapologetically human. Violet Clare weaves themes of guilt, change, childhood, humanity, and nature through her lyrically-focused alternative indie folk music.

Sheepish is the songwriting project of Chicago-based musician Maya Llewellyn. Falling somewhere between indie rock and folk, their music tangles together the ambiguous, the unsaid, and the magic of real life. This is Maya’s debut show as an adult Chicagoan— she is excited to play with her friends Violet and Kathy.
