Al Rose, Victor Sanders and Al Day

Victor Sanders, Al Rose and Al Day are bound together by years of friendship. For tonight‘s special event, they are bound by the magical sounds of Victor‘s guitar playing. A wonderful evening of songs woven together by the textures of Victor‘s guitar playing.

Al Rose is a mesmerizing, challenging, insightful and ultimately delightful songwriter with a unique command of wordplay combined with considerable musical acumen. His 8 albums have received a bevy of critical praise along with extensive airplay on AAA and Americana stations throughout the US and Europe. The Chicago-based performer has played coast-to-coast as well as Europe and Japan.  A consummate and prolific live performer, Rose always puts on a wild yet cool spontaneous show—whether he’s solo, with a full band or some configuration in between.

Victor Sanders has been called “A master of mystery guitar.” His electric guitar and well-equipped pedalboard create sounds hard to believe are coming from a six-string guitar. His playing strives to combine playful imagination with atmospheric textures, and a well-honed technique.

Al Day has been hailed "Most Promising Songwriter" by Chicago Magazine and has appeared in clubs and colleges throughout the United States and on radio and TV shows such as WFMT's "Midnight Special" and WTTW's "Sound Stage." In 1996, Al formed the Al Day Trio, which released the critically acclaimed CD "Guest House" in 2003.
