As a child growing up behind the iron curtain, Lana Found escape from boring propaganda in her favorite subjects like math, geometry, and later drafting. She was fascinated by brainteasers, puzzles, Rubik’s cubes, and drawing. After high school, she studied computer science and then after immigration, she studied medicine - but pursued a career in neither. Instead, she pursued her dream to become an artist. Today, Lana Vosk is a multimedia artist whose abstract paintings are inspired by lifelong work with textiles. Playing with color combinations, 3D illusions, and geometric forms and lines , while celebrating the beauty of fiber stitches is what she enjoys the most. Lana’s paintings are a reflection of human life - distant events become hardly remembered speckles, years are peppered with bright happy moments and each day brings a unique story
